About Us
Our name is Justin and Lacey Zachman; we started a travel/lifestyle vlog in 2008 because we wanted to have memories of different life events. Hence the name "Z Roll" comes from the word "B-Roll," which originates from the early days of film when editors inserted supplemental footage, or B-roll, into the main footage. So we decided to name our Youtube Channel Our Z Roll. It's the B-roll of our life. Zachman is our last name, so there you have it, Our Z Roll. After a couple of years on Youtube, people started reaching out due to our "unique editing style," So we started editing some of their videos and branding their companies.
